Nike's latest leadership readjustment, Green founder directs CCI

Tommy Hilfiger owner PVH Corp. has appointed David Savman as the global brand president of Calvin Klein, who will remain at the company at the end of the year as a consultant to support the transition. Savman joined PVH in 2022 and currently serves as PVH’s global operations director and chief supply chain officer, and in 2024 he served as interim CEO of PVH Europe to “reposition” growth in the region. He will also continue to hold his current role until his successor is named.

Sports giant Nike has announced several changes to its senior leadership team.

Elliott Hill (for example, Heidi O'Neill, president of Consumer, Products and Brands) divides consumer, product and brand leadership into three areas: consumer, sports, marketing and product creation, including innovation and design. The roles will now be reported directly to Hill as O'Neill retired from Nike after 26 years at the company. She will continue to serve with consulting capabilities until September.

Amy Montagne has been promoted to president, responsible for “obsessing and serving” consumers in all movements. Phil McCartney has been promoted to executive vice president, chief innovation, design and product officer, responsible for “creating innovative” products, including products from Jordan and Converse. Nicole Graham was promoted to executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Tom Clarke takes on a new role as Chief Growth Program Officer.

Global sportswear brand PUMA has appointed Dominique Gathier as vice president of TeamSport's business unit. He replaced Matthias Bäumer, who became PUMA's chief business officer earlier this year, and he reported to Chief Product Officer Maria Valdes. Gathier will be responsible for the entire product team of the business unit in the new position to lead the execution of product strategies and collaborations.

Amsterdam-based Denim Label G-Star announced the appointment of Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh as creative directors for their quality collections. The design duo changed its name to Botter, which will reintroduce and revive the brand’s original research series. The first collection will debut during Paris Fashion Week in January 2026.

Lycra has promoted North American marketing director Melissa Riggs to chief marketing officer. In this role, Riggs will oversee the planning, development and execution of brand and marketing programs to support the company's operational goals and growth plans. Prior to joining Lycra Company in 2022, Riggs spent 11 years at Molson Coors Beverage Company, specializing in partner marketing and competitive programs for distributors.

The Cotton Commission International Committee (CCI) of the National Cotton Commission (NCC)’s export promotion division has appointed Green’s founder Liz Hershfield as the new executive director. She replaced Bruce Atherley, who retired at the end of March. In this role, Hershfield will leverage her extensive experience in cotton, sustainable fashion and supply chain management in the United States to “globally improve” the “Cotton American Difference” work for nonprofits.

The National Textile Organization Council (NCTO) is a trade association based in Washington, D.C., representing domestic textile manufacturers, elected as chairman of Chuck Hall, President and CEO of Barnet; MMI Textiles, Inc. CEO and founder Amy Bircher Bruyn serves as vice chairman. In addition to appointing the new chairman and vice chairman, the NCTO also elected chairs for each of its five councils.
