This week Nike re-released a highly sought-after retro air Jordan sneakers, this version can be connected to more than just a historic NBA player.
Nike is selling Air Jordan 12 Retro "White and university blue" Men's shoes, priced at $200. Available sizes (at the time of publication) range from 7 to 14 for males to 8.5 to 15.5 for females.
First released in 1996, Air Jordan 12 is (of course) and (of course) arguably the greatest basketball player ever made on the court. However, this specific color scheme (aka Melo) was released in 2004 during Carmelo Anthony's rookie season. Anthony wore these shoes when he played Jordan brand representative in the NBA. By the way, Anthony will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame later this year.
