Colorado Football Head Coach and NFL Hall of Fame Deion Sanders posted a secret X post Wednesday.

Sanders' post comes just days after his son Shedeur shockedly fell to the 144th pick in the NFL draft, one of the most unprecedented slides in recent history. However, his post does not directly quote the topic.

Sanders wrote: "I can do better, I know better, I'm taught better, I see better, I'm absolutely better! I'm also grateful for another opportunity to do what I'm lucky, I won't take it for granted. The Lord created a pure heart in me and renewed the right spirit within me."

The post of Sanders echoes a consistent Christian theme that emanates throughout the situation.

Shedeur himself thanked God several times on social media, from Thursday to Saturday, including two X posts just minutes apart - before and after he was selected by Brown.
