The MFFF 2025 competition jury consists of French-Iranian actor, producer and director Zar Amir; Danish-American actor and director Viggo Mortensen; French actress and director Noémie Merant; Swedish filmmaker Tarik Saleh; and Russian director Andrei Zvyagintsev. Their expertise will be used to select the winner of this year's Grand Prix, which will be awarded to a competing feature film.
In addition to the Jury Prize, the MFFF also features awards judged by members of the international media, festival-goers and content creators.
This year's films have been recognized at prestigious international film festivals and tackle a wide range of issues such as changing family dynamics, the fight against sexism and sexual violence, social inequality and the search for personal identity.
