James Patterson and Jimmy's "Mrbeast" Donaldson are joining forces for the new thriller.

HarperCollins announced Monday that bestselling authors will work with YouTube creators to co-author a novel to be published in 2026. The nameless novel will be published in English by HarperCollins Worldwide and will be published in 14 languages ​​through its global publishing program.

HarperCollins describes the novel as a "high octane, pulse-stimulating thriller." The summary reads: “100 contestants compete in an extreme global competition because they not only have to conduct dangerous tests at dangerous locations around the world, but also prove their leadership. In each test, relationships grow, betrayal will be deeply reduced, and more and more contestants will be eliminated. Ultimately, a victory was won.

The novel marks Mrbeast’s first foray into publication.

“Over the past few years, an idea has driven my choice: ‘My time is short – what can I do?’ I met the beast in his studio, we chatted for hours and we thought of an exciting person that I think will open up readers all over the world.”

William Morrow will be published in the United States and in the United Kingdom.
