More than 100 vehicles stuck on hot debris on busy Sydney highways | NSW

A trucking company apologized for a more than a hundred cars stuck on the busy Sydney highway with fixed tires stuck on the busy highway.

Police in a statement said in a statement that at 5.10am on Friday, police were called to M1, between M1.

More than a hundred cars were found in tires, and the traffic and highway patrol commander found. Many vehicles stopped in the faulty lane.

"A truck lost a lot of scrap metal around 5am this morning," the NSW Rural Fire Department said in a social media post.

Daniel Falconer of Hauler and Trucking Company NJ Ashton confirmed on Friday morning that the car belongs to Ben Fordham's 2GB.

Falcona said the fragments were called "flocks," "small, sharp steel," and "when it came out, it was piercing the tires."

"It's some kind of mechanical error, and we don't know how it came out behind the truck," Falcona said. "It's been oozing a few kilometers by its appearance."

He said the car drove 30 kilometers before the metal began to fall.

“The same truck has been running the same for three to four weeks, and we have no problem.”

The driver "absolutely didn't know" that the metal was spilling. Falconner said the pin on the back of the truck was locked.

“When the police showed up, they confirmed they were locked in the company.

Falconner said Ashton Mechanics, New Jersey, is repairing tires and “helping anyone on the roadside” pathways.

“We are very sorry for what happened.”

“We just do as much as we can.”

NSW Field Transport reported heavy vehicle inspectors, a trailer and sweeper joined the emergency services and transport in NSW at the site.

Howard Collins, a coordinator at the Transport Management Center, told the ABC that the car’s rear doors were open “and thousands of pieces of sharp metal were spread throughout the highway.”

“Hundreds of cars pierced the tires with this metal.”

“I’ve seen multiple tires in photos, so changing one is useless because three or four are gone.”

The southbound lane of M1 between Wyong Road, Tuggerah and Calga Interchange has been closed and transferred. Police urged motorists to allow “a lot of extra travel time” in the area.
