Miami football player ruled to kill 2 children in crash

A Miami football player, the driver in a two-car crash, killed three people in another, two of them children, police said Monday.

Defender Adarius Hayes was injured in the wreckage but was released from the hospital.

The people who died in Kia's soul are 78, 10 and 4 years old.

"As Lago police confirmed, we feel very sad about learning about the crash, and our thoughts and prayers are related to the families and loved ones of those who died," Hurricane said in a statement.

The school is still working to gather more information.

Police said another passenger in Kia was seriously injured.

"There are no signs of damage from the vehicle driver," Megan Santo, a public information officer at Lago Police, said in a statement issued Sunday.

The Orlando Sentinel noted that Hayes has a history of driving citations, including several instances of speeding, while another incident was used for careless driving, led to another type of crash.

Hayes played 12 games in Miami last season, mainly on special teams. Caused interest from Florida, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio, he was a four-star recruit from Largo High and selected Miami.
