Sean Manaea's first recovery begins

The Mets' captain revealed when Manai would play some games from the nervous right slope after months of recovery. Mendoza said Manaea plans to have her first recovery with High-A Brooklyn on Friday. The whirlwind is on the way, but Manaea will be in that game, hoping to give Southpaw two UPS and 35 courts or so.

Manaea shot 29 goals in the live bullpen "Progress goes smoothly" Earlier this week, the Mets’ entry-level man recovered well and he wasn’t ready for the ramp until he returned to the Mets to spin.

Frankie Montas' next step is unclear

Montas has had several rehabilitation outings as the veteran right-hander recovers from the stress of Laura, and his latest work is Tuesday with Triple-A. This is Montas’ first recovery start in Syracuse, and he is not effective in his four-innings work.

Mendoza was asked about Mentas, the captain of the Mets, said they had to wait for him to recover from his latest starting point, but he didn't know how much recovery his pitcher needed. He did say they wanted to continue building him, but they had 20 days until his recovery mission was officially completed and then they would have to revisit it.

Montas threw 61 courts (43 strikes) but allowed six hits and three hits to make a home run.

Good news from Mark Vientos

The Mets put pressure on the ham hamstring on Tuesday's 10-day IL, but Mendoza has provided positive updates to the younger players.

"We got relatively good news. This is a low-level pressure." He said. "It will be treated for the next 10-14 days until he has no symptoms and then he will rise. Good news there."

Vientos hit a slow ground ball in an extra inning on Monday's game, but fell down the first baseline and kept it a little bit. He finally got up and grabbed the hamstring as he headed to the canoe. After the game, Mendoza said it was injured "Not looking good" Therefore, he was pleasantly surprised by the results of Vientos' test.

"You never know, guy went down his way. You're expecting the worst" Mendoza said. "Once he goes through all the tests, talk to the trainer - you don't want to see him fall anytime, it's the low-level fact, it's good news."

Vientos will take at least 10 days off to see if he has no symptoms before starting baseball activities, and then promote him.
