Men's United Marcus Rashford doesn't convince to join Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur’s goal is ambitious to sign Marcus Rashford of this summer, according to Football Insider.

If Rashford moves to Aston Villa, the Spurs hope to take advantage of the situation, and they hope to bring the 27-year-old attacker to the club.

The Spurs have begun internal discussions about bringing Rashford to North London if he proposes to move to Aston Villa collapse.

Former Manchester United and Tottenham Scout Mick Brown claimed that the deal is currently considered extremely unlikely, despite the Spurs being serious about the possibility.

"Tottenham Hotspur is investigating what is needed to sign Rashford," He told football insiders.

“But they have to decide their direction.

“You can’t just put in a lot of players and hope it works, they need to find some stability, I don’t think it’s what Marcus will give them.

“As far as I know, he didn’t believe this move either.

“He wants to play Champions League football and compete at the highest level.

“I’m not sure if he’ll cut his salary significantly.

“Also, Tottenham Hotspur won’t pay him a salary, and I think that will be a problem for him, because Villa won’t pay that money either.

"So it may seem difficult to do, and I don't think he will end up at Tottenham to tell the truth."

One of Rashford's ambitions is to continue playing at the highest level.

Sources close to England International revealed he wants to compete in the Champions League and Tottenham can't guarantee it unless they win the Europa League this season.

In addition, Rashford's salary at Manchester United is reportedly about £350,000 per week, which is another huge obstacle.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is preparing for a busy summer with a focus on smart recruiting to build a team that can consistently challenge Champions League qualification.

Rashford is one of the players they want, but the motivation surrounding him signing doesn't support them.

British attackers are expected to leave Manchester United permanently this summer.
