Attorneys representing convicted murderers Erik and Lyle Menendez took action to try to cancel Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman and his office, and their office represent the state from the brothers’ attitude case.
Attorney Mark Geragos and his Cocounsels filed paperwork on Friday, announcing a motion to cancel Hochman's office, citing a "conflict of interest." The motion comes before Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Jesic, who presided over the matter.
The brothers are currently living for the killing of their parents in 1989 without parole, and they are fighting to reduce their sentences.

Timeline for the Menendez brothers murder
The next scheduled hearing date for the case is May 9.
“This motion is under the constitution of the U.S. and California and California’s criminal laws and on this grounds that in the absence of a lawsuit, a conflict of interest will allow the defendant to obtain a fair hearing and fair treatment through all relevant lawsuits,” according to all relevant lawsuits that declare a motion to declare a nonconformity. ”
If the motion is not approved, Geragos will request an evidence hearing, show the court that the conflict of interest exists, and plans to call Hochman and several others to testify.

The bill revolves around Hochman's recently working at the District Attorney's Office.
Last October, former Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon announced that he was considering an application for the Menendez Brothers.
Shortly thereafter, more than 20 Menandes family members who supported the resentment met with Deputy District Attorney Nancy Theberge and Brock Lunsford.
Milton Andersen objected to single family members who did not attend the meeting, filed a friend's summary through his attorney, Kathleen Cady, against the lawsuit.

After Hochman defeated Gascon on November 5 last year, Hochman began working with people who opposed the hatred of the Menendez Brothers.
Glagos said Hockman deliberately reassigned Theberge and Lunsford, who were seen as Menandes sympathizers, to another office. He also said Hodgman hired Cady, who represented members of the Menandes family against the assault, to lead the Victim Services Office of the District Attorney’s Office, despite recognizing that Cady encountered a conflict of interest in the case.

The document says Cardi's conflict of interest also expanded outside the court.
According to Geragos, she is a board member called "Justice of Murdered Child", and on April 13, the group held a rally with Hochman headlines. During that rally, the group condemned the resentment of the Menandes brothers.

The document also claimed that Cady ignored Menendez family members in her official capacity as the Office of Victim Services and that she did not warn them of horrible images of the murders shown in the investigation process during the April 11 hearing.
