Howell in the summerChucky's worshipHallmark's Through the snow) is playing the role of champion in the drama, a young man with emerging remote play ability. Samantha Sloyan(Pitt) will play Margaret White with Howell, the domineering mother of Carrie. Alison Thornton, Thalia Dudek, Siena Agudong, Amber Midthunder, Josie Totah, Arthur Conti, Joel Oulette and Matthew Lillard are also joining the cast.

Prime Video ordered the series with Mike Flanagan in April (Sleep doctor, trouble) Set writers and performers to. Carrie Since King's first novel published in 1974, Brian de Palma famously shot the 1976 film starring Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie. Flanagan is a Prime Video series made by Trevor Macy of Intrepid Pictures. Flanagan and Macy's overall deals are both producing Amazon MGM studios.

Thornton (School Spirit) will play Chris Hargensen in the series. Dudek (Doctor Who) plays Emaline. Agudong (Next to: QB and me) will play Sue Snell.
