Mavericks turn to the head with three-word Cooper Flagg's draft reaction

The Dallas Mavericks shocked the NBA world with a 1.8% chance to finish first place after winning the 2025 draft and Cooper Flagg raffle Monday night.

Dallas enjoys potential rights to the most hyped prospect since Lebron James after trading Luka Donic as Anthony Davis mid-term.

Duke's 6-foot-9 phenomenon Cooper Flagg was almost locked in the June draft.

Rolando Blackman's reaction said everything.

The four-time All-Stars provide a simple assessment with a smile and calm confidence.

"He can hoop."

Flagg starred for Duke in the 2024-25 season and showed great expectations and saw little defensive advantage, highlight game and calm in college basketball games.

Maine natives may now head to the Mavericks, hoping to return to contender status after a tough year.

After the announcement, the Internet exploded and fans responded in real time.

One fan joked, “It was manipulated,” another fan said, “Adam Silver didn’t even hide it.”

"It's absolutely crazy three months to whether this franchise will hold its own property," one user wrote.

"Fragr is growing in Dallas!!" Another release.

One fan quipped: "Frager will eventually go to the Lakers to laugh."

Many others followed.

Meanwhile, the Spurs, the Sixers and the Hornets are in the top four. But for Dallas, the day will be remembered as a turning point in the franchise.

In fact, the Mavericks became the fourth shot to win the No. 1 pick in lottery history.

The team has some attention to the future, and from the early reactions, Cooper Flagg may be the core of what they have been waiting for.

For the franchise that last season was all-season, this could be a grand prize after some questionable decisions.
