Just, I have that in my head. We've talked about getting back together and I think these guys are willing to take it. It's just a question of whether that will happen or not."

McConaughey and Harrelson have been intimate for the years since "The Real Detective" and are currently starring in their own fictional version together in the upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series. McConaughey type Earlier this year, he worshiped his own plot.

"My favorite season - I think I can objectively say it's Season 1," he said. "I happened to be in that, so I thought it was incredible TV and a great series. Pizzolatto returns to "True Detective" Season 2, headlines by Rachel McAdams, Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn, but the series are promoted by film critics. The third season, led by Mahershala Ali, proved more favorable in 2017. Pizzolatto was not involved in the show’s fourth season, “True Detective: Night Country,” starring Jodie Foster and created by Issa Lopez.

"I'm the one who left the contract at the end of 2019," Pizzolatto said in the podcast. "I believe if I gave them a 'real detective' script for the season is good, I'm sure they'll work on it. But I myself was mentally tired of walking in so much darkness. Handling with material that was so dark. Then I totally need my daughter to back off, and it's a situation where I really need to be a father... and I had to go out a lot of work out of my job in 2020."

Pizzolatto said he was the one who stood out from the “real detective” equation, so it was “right and appropriate” to keep going in season 4. Now, the network is developing season five of “Real Detective”, while “Night Country”’s Lopez returns to performers.
