He added: "The fear of ice-torn families is the worst nightmare for many people in our city. I have asked the city manager to provide a complete report on the incident. We have not been notified by the ICE about detention. In short, we cannot happen in the community."

The Worcester Police Department said it responded to the area of Eureka Street around 11:13 a.m., “reported a report from a federal agent, the country was surrounded by about 25 people.”
"We also received calls from someone saying Ice police were on the scene and refused to sign an arrest warrant to the crowd. Worcester police responded to maintain peace and prevent anyone from getting injured," the department said.
But when officials arrived, “they observed a chaotic scene of chaos in federal agents from various agencies trying to detain women,” the Worcester Police Department said.
Police continued: "The crowd was unruly and several people put their hands on federal agents and Worcester officials to prevent vehicles and arrested people from leaving. Worcester officials tried to make the situation more effort and prevent the situation and keep everyone safe."
