Manchester City explores the personal terms of the new "No. 8" and expects future

Manchester City officials are reportedly working to sign a new "No. 8" for Guardiola's midfielder this summer.

Former Premier League champions are expected to be significantly strengthened in the midfield ranking this summer as Hugo Viana and Txiki Bechiristain aim to bring Pep Guardiola’s game back to competitive advantage after a disappointing campaign.

Kevin de Bruyne, who has quit the first team after 10 years of dedicated and legendary service at the club, puts the offensive midfielder on the club's top priorities, is understood to be the No. 1.

However, due to age and injury issues throughout the season, the park center has a noticeable lack of legs, which means a new Central player is expected to arrive this summer through Etihad’s goal.

This led to the club becoming a superstar Tijjani Reijnders, who had a hugely impressive campaign ending with AC Milan from a personal perspective, and his ability to limit defense to attacks was a clear attraction for city owners.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester officials will make a formal bid for AC Milan in the "upcoming weeks".

Details are that the Dutch hopes to focus on the final game of the season through his current club, while New York City respects the award, but being a midfielder is a major goal for the role of the “8” this summer.

Other reports provided by Sacha Tavolieri revealed that city officials knew Tijjani Reijnders’ current preference was to move to Etihad Stadium and had explored personal terms to implement the deal.

Reijnders himself has spoken about his admiration for one of Manchester City's current but outgoing stars, as he revealed to athletes in a recent interview that he often looks up to Kevin de Bruyne.

"When I grew up, I looked at Kevin de Bruyne a lot of things."

"I watched his game, YouTube clips, especially the way he scans the stadium before getting the ball, so he always knows where the space is. I try to do the same."

Whether Tijjani's renovation is regarded as a direct replacement for the existing name of the Manchester City midfielder remains to be seen, with earlier suggestions claiming that the club can offer offers to Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva.
