Lutnik said Trump's Golden Card Visa Program will be launched online within weeks.

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Wednesday that Trump Gold Card will be online in a few weeks, allowing any foreigner to buy a visa for $5 million.

Lutnick, a guest at the Axios Creek event, built the Future on Wednesday, where his co-founder Mike Allen gave interviews on several topics, including a gold card provided by President Donald Trump.

Trump said in March that the gold medal would be sold “soon”, explaining that it was like a green card, but “better, more refined.” In the U.S., he said, the latest path to citizenship will allow “the pathway for people from around the world to create jobs to buy citizenship.”

Allen asked Lutnick when he could use 5 million gold medals, and Lutnick said he hoped a website called trumpcard.gov would be up and running in about a week.

"It will be shortly after, but people can start signing up," Lutnik said.

He also shared a story about the recent “delicious food” in the Middle East, with about 400 people.

Lutnick said during dinner, he pulled out the phone when a senior leader walked by and asked why his phone went out.

"I'll go, 'I'm going to sell him the cards,'" Lutnik said. “So basically everyone I meet who is not an American would want to buy that card if they have financial capabilities.”

Trump continues to push for concerns about China's impact, replacing controversial visas

President Donald Trump held a $5 million Trump gold medal when he spoke to Air Force reporters on April 3. .

He admits that not everyone can afford the gold card, but those who have the ability to help the U.S. pay off debt will be able to use it.

"Why don't they want a Plan B, saying God forbids bad things, you come to an airport in the United States, and the immigrants say, 'Welcome home.' Right, not, "If something happens to my country, where am I going." ”

He noted that everyone will be scrutinized and that those who get a $5 million visa will be "great people, good people who will bring businesses and opportunities to the United States. They will pay $5 million."

Lutnick offers another hypothetical situation, saying that if 200,000 people buy gold cards for $5 million, it would be $1 trillion.

"Remember, we're getting 280,000 visas a year for free now, rather than counting the 20 million people who broke into the country in Biden," Lutnik said. "So, I want you to think about it. We give it for free and say why Donald Trump will bring a trillion dollars to make the United States better. It makes a lot of sense to me."

Trump's "golden card" visa may invite fraud, national security risks: experts

Trump has previously touted his plan to attract the world's wealthiest people to become American citizens, although this is because he has mastered both illegal immigration and increasing numbers, and because of soaring school costs and a crowded interest in student loans.

After Trump announced the news in March, Lora Ries, director of the Heritage Foundation's Border Security and Immigration Center, warned that it could invite fraud.

"Any immigration benefits attract fraud. ... People are willing to do anything, almost anything comes to the United States," Ries told Fox News Digital.

Lutnick said all candidates will be "in-depth review" in a February interview with Fox News chief political host Bret Baier.

"These are the people under censorship," Lutnik told Bayer. "These are going to be great global citizens who will bring entrepreneurship, ability and growth to the United States. If one of them comes in and think about the job they will bring, the businesses they will bring, and they will pay U.S. taxes. So that's a huge amount of money in the United States."
