After cruising in the first two games in the Baton Rouge area, LSU appears to be doing the same on Sunday night as the Tigers lead 3-0 against Little Rock.
But from there, it was all Trojan horses. Angel Cano's two home runs in the second inning put the little stone on the board. Little Rock City followed closely behind at four local speeds in the third game. Just for insurance, Little Rock scored 4 points on the eighth time, ending it with a final score of 10-4.
Now, LSU finds himself in a full-game win on Monday night. Winning the victory, LSU entered the super area. Loss, Louisiana State's history will fall in a long history of frustration. Little Rock was once 19-32 and had to win the conference championship to get here. The Trojan has exceeded all expectations of Baton Rouge.
Let's take a look at the mistake LSU lost to Little Rock.
LSU's pitchers have two luxury items. The Tigers settled with Anthony Eyanson and Kade Anderson on Friday and Saturday. The two combined to close baseball for 14.2 innings. There is no doubt what Louisiana State has to do with the mound.
After Eyanson and Anderson, LSU's pitches are inconsistent in 2025. The question raised its head on Monday. Jaden Noot performed well in the SEC Championship against Ole Miss, outputting four innings and one inning of baseball. This made LSU feel confident on Sunday, but Noot couldn't get out of the second inning.
The coast of Chase appeared. Shores is contradictory in the SEC game, but his stuff is usually compared to talented teams. This is not the case, as Shores are marked four times. Noot and Shores made a total of five walks in 2.1 innings.
Copper Williams kept the Trojans in 3.2 innings, but Jacob Mayers escaped in the eighth and walked four batsmen in 1.1 innings.
LSU didn't expect Noot, Shores and Company could match the outings of Eyanson and Anderson, but LSU needed more. Little Rock is not the Yankees of 1927. But Louisiana State struggled to strike, and the Little Rock paid the Tigers.
"Some people on the mound may not show the way they want it, or maybe they can do it," Johnson said.
Little Rock City has to run 10 times. Of these 10, 7 walks to the base. Louisiana State didn't win the Trojan on Sunday.

Little Rock took the lead after a third walk, loading up the base for Angel Cano's base. All three runners and Cano, who scored two, would later cross themselves.
In Game 8, the game is still accessible, but Mayers' walking allows the Trojan to open it. With Cowan and Evans going to pitch on Monday, LSU hopes to be able to control the walk.
Louisiana State didn’t do badly on the plate. Louisiana State University's total number reached .297, with the runners scoring .316, while the runners scored .333. Louisiana State led the inning 3-9, 1-8 points posted by Little Rock.
But, despite LSU hitting the Trojan with 11 knocks, LSU has no power. Louisiana State received only four runs. The Tigers have no home runs and have two extra hits.
The middle of the lineup was empty, and LSU took a total of one blow from the 3-5 position. Derek Curiel reached the base four times but scored only once. Louisiana State requires Jared Jones and Daniel Dickinson to run behind Curiel.
The offensive disappointment of the Tigers Bats in a victory over Dallas Baptist Church was surprising.
