The CIA's former top doctor is prosecuting spy agencies for firing her fire, accusing the government of denying her due process, allegedly bowing and bowing to far-right activists who have picked her criticism.
Terry Adirim, director of the CIA's Global Health Services Center, was hired by the agency after serving as assistant secretary of health for the Pentagon during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Days after starting work at the CIA last year, far-right commentator Ivan Raiklin accused Adirim of allegedly a "architect" with the Department of Defense vaccine authorization, demanding military members obtain covid-19 jabs.
Adirim's recruitment for the CIA has not been publicly announced that someone within the government leaked the information to Raiklin, the lawsuit said.
Raiklin, a former green beret, called himself the “Minister of Retribution”, has been a fierce critic of the Covid-19 vaccine, calling it “DNA-calciferous.” He demanded retaliation against Pentagon officials, who he believes were involved in requiring service personnel to obtain a Covid-19-19 vaccine.
Raiklin has ties to Michael Flynn, who briefly served as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser at the beginning of his first term.
The CIA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Adirim was fired for only a few weeks after receiving an email from the CIA's chief operating officer, the lawsuit says.
The firing also happened two days after another far-right conspiracy theorist, Lara Loomer, visited the White House and urged several national security officials to be dismissed for alleged infidelity, the lawsuit said.
Loomer then received praise for the sudden dismissal of NSA Director Timothy Haugh and the agency's civilian agent.
"We are suing the CIA to ask the agency to fire Dr. Adirem and seek damages from violating her privacy, ignoring her due process rights and violating her employment contract," Adirem's attorney Kevin Carroll said in a statement.
Carroll noted in the lawsuit that he would seek to prove by discovering that Raiklin worked with Loomer to ensure Adirim was fired.
