Lionel Messi, Inter Miami lost to Orlando City of MLS | Football News

Lionel Messi's Inter Miami has one of the worst performances of the season, losing to them in Florida's rivals.

Lionel Messi's frustration continued to lose 3-0 to Orlando City in the Major League Soccer (MLS) as Miami's tragic run continued to lose 3-0.

Florida's derby lost Sunday, beating one of its last seven games in all games. They fell to sixth at the Eastern Conference and Orlando passed them.

Messi had only two shots on Target and took a free kick as his figure fell on his side.

"Now, we're going to really see if we're in tough times because everything goes well, it's very easy," Messi told Apple.

He added: “When the tough times come, it’s that we have to be more united than ever, to be a real team and to get together.”

Messi questioned the referee, but in reality, the loss had nothing to do with the host, and it had to do with Shambill's defense, disconnected midfielder and a fistless offense led by the rapidly declining Luis Suarez.

Orlando grabbed the lead with a ridiculous simplicity in the 43rd minute. Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese launched the ball down and Luis Muriel ran clearly, passing Oscar Ustari.

Visitors get along directly with Miami’s rear line, all at sea. When Argentinian Martin Ojeda found himself clear about his goal, he should have done better, but was blasted.

Miami's senior goalkeeper Ustari made a good doubles savings, but the 38-year-old found himself responsible for Orlando's second goal.

The ball landed on Marco Pasalic at the edge of the box, his low rays passed through Ustari's hands and legs, doubled Orlando's lead.

Miami coach Javier Mascherano threw attackers to get what was in the game, but it was futile.

In the fourth minute of downtime, Duncan McGuire fell to the left and his low cross was beaten home by Icelandic forward Dagur Thorhallsson to end the tourists' impressive performance.

Miami has admitted 20 goals in its last seven games, with their only win against New York Red Bull on May 3.

Mascherano said the first goal changed the game.

"I said 25 or 30 minutes and we had total control over it in half of the opponent, but that's obviously. I won't deny what the result is."

The MLS campaign in Miami went well until they quit the CONCACAF Championship Cup at the hands of Whitecaps in Vancouver. Mascherano admits that the team's morale has been hit.

"Obviously, the team has lost a lot of confidence and something happened. Our personal and collective levels have dropped, obviously, one way or another - we have tried to use different plans, different names, and today, we are still suffering. We will continue to work hard to find a way."
