Apple TV+ has released the first official trailer for the eight-episode series Prime, enchanting viewers with intrigue and the fate of the world.
Leo Woodall stars as Edward Brooks ("The White Lotus"), a brilliant mathematics graduate student on the verge of making a crucial breakthrough in the pattern of prime numbers. Edwards meets an NSA agent, played by Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam), and the two work together to uncover a disturbing mystery while an unseen enemy seeks to destroy Edwards Ideas to unlock every computer key.
The supporting cast includes Stephen Rea, David Morrissey, Martha Plimpton, Syd Babette Knutson, Jason Flemyng and Harry Lloyd, among others.
Prime is created by Steve Thompson (Sherlock), who also serves as executive producer. The first two episodes will premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ on January 22, with subsequent episodes airing weekly.

Prime Video has announced five new cast members for the third season of Wheel of Time.
Isabella Bucceri, Nukâka Coster-Waldau, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir, Bjorn Land Björn Landberg and Synnøve Madocy Lund have joined the cast of Prime Video's fantasy series. Busseri stars as Faile Bashere, a Sardaean "horn hunter" whose search for a precious relic leads her to Two Rivers.
Coster-Waldau Bair, the oldest wise man and most respected member of the Talda Aiel. Gunnersdóttir will play Melaine, an intelligent but non-psychic person. Landberg plays Rulak, a highly respected chief of the Taddad Aiel tribe. Lund plays Melindhra, a Malkiri survivor who was taken in and raised by the Tadad Aiel.
Five new actors join a cast that already includes Rosamund Pike, Daniel Hennie, Zoe Robbins and Madeleine Madden. "The Wheel of Time" is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Pictures and is adapted from Robert Jordan's best-selling fantasy novel series of the same name.
The third season of Wheel of Time will premiere globally on Prime Video on March 13.
Three different projects from Tom Green will launch on Prime Video in January, ranging from documentaries and comedy specials to unscripted series.
"This Is Tom Green Documentary," launched on January 24, follows Green's career in comedy, film, and internet culture. Featuring raw, unseen footage, the documentary captures Green's transition from Canada to Hollywood and the highs and lows of his entire career.
The comedy special "Tom Green: I Got a Mule!" will be on sale January 28. Green’s latest special is taken from his recent North American tour. Finally, the unscripted series Tom Green Country will launch on January 31, showing Green giving up his Hollywood life in exchange for a country farm.
All three films will be broadcast in 240 countries and territories around the world.
