NBC "Late Night" host Seth Meyers mocked the idea that former President Joe Biden's declined health was a major political scandal, calling it "the worst cover-up in American history."

Questions about Biden’s health have surfaced after the release of “Primary Sin”, with a new book by CNN host Jake Tapper and Axios journalist Alex Thompson claiming that although Biden’s inner circle has masked the president’s health and cognitive decline over the years, he told the public that he was keen and suitable for office work.

Meyers tore the media apart as he believes the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress are quickly demolishing American civil society and turning the country into a secluded oligarchy, Meyers pays attention to Biden’s “covering”.

He said sarcastically: "But I don't want to talk about anything, nor the media. We both want to talk about something more important. Joe Biden has been and has been a while and is very old."

After Meyers played a digital montage covering up the media scandal, Meyers joked: "They are right. It's the biggest scandal in history, bigger than Watergate, bigger than Iran-Singular, bigger than the Teapot Dome scandal."

The late night host argued that the president's age was not a secret, and that most Americans opposed his re-election campaign in 2024, believing he was too old to serve again.

“Now, you’re probably thinking about yourself, ‘Wait, does everyone know that Joe Biden is old?’” Meyers asked. "''After a poll, not showing that the vast majority of Americans, including the obvious Democratic Party, thought he was too old to run for reelection and wanted others? Wasn't he so bad in the debate that his own party made unprecedented efforts to successfully force him out of the game?'''"

He continued: "'Doesn't Democrats end up being punished for running again when Biden was kicked in the ass in the November election?" "'Seth didn't play Biden's clip, like 1,000 times?''

"It's on TV, and everyone sees it," he said, while walking on the Air Force One staircase in 2021.

He joked: "If it's a cover-up, if it's the worst cover-up in American history. It's the worst secret since Mika and Joe." He joked, referring to the relationship between "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.

"It's just live in the Twitch, it's like Watergate," Meyers added.

Meyers became serious after laughing at the reports of Biden getting lost in the White House closet.

"It's just a disastrous political choice. The people who should be criticized, the assistants convinced him and himself that he should ignore the reality and run again."

According to Grabien's transcript, Meyer's Monday night performance appears to be his first quote from the Biden cover-up revelation in Tapper's book.

Meyer and liberal late night hosts Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel welcomed Biden for friendly interviews. Recently, Biden was “with Seth Meyers” just days after the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report in February 2024.

At the time, Hur called Biden a "sympathetic, kind-hearted elderly man with poor memory."

In an interview with Biden in February 2024, Meyers gently introduced the theme of Biden’s age and then quickly turned to other topics.

After Hur's report was released a few days later, Meyers called the special lawyer's comments "a useless assumption" and stressed that Hur was a "Republican lawyer" and "originally appointed by Trump."

Meyers repeatedly drew attention to the president's previous statement: "If this language is appropriate in legal discovery, then prosecutors may do the same to Trump." Donald Trumpacuity.
