Larry Nance Jr.

In order to remember Kobe Bryant's life five years after his death, I talked with Larry Nance, and Larry Nance Jr.

The following is some of my latest episodes of my podcast. In order to open our dialogue, I joked with Larry and said how he and Kobe "merged" 68 points in Kobe's last game:

Larry: Look, the 60 -year -old is a good appetizer, but my eight meals are from us. Honestly, you know a special night. real. I mean, that's a very difficult year. We have many young people there, and we have won 17 games. However, when people meet on their faces, they realize that the last time is what I will never forget. I have done some cool things in my career, I hope I can do more cool things, but I can't imagine to replace the 60 -point game. As far as history is concerned, I can't imagine what to replace it.

Kevin: When you are selected by the Lakers and knows that you will become a teammate of Kobe Bryant, what is the first thing you think of?

Larry: That is a person you just met, "I can't be angry with this person." By then, the older generation of players were on the way out, but like Kobe still had this mentality. Kgs are still in the league. Some people just don't mess with it. Therefore, the first thing is that the first thing is that all of us are the same. Well, how can I get the good side of this guy? How do I stay? What should I do to make this guy not let me see his sight? I found that it was easy. He asked us just everything we had. That's it. I can do it. Anyone can do this. No, he did not ask you to be a superstar. He did not ask you to make all the shots. He just asked you what you got, I need it all. I need you. 100 % of them. This is how I went to court in the rookie year. Just like defense and more hard -working games than anyone else. And I think we are trying to keep in touch with each property of 100 %.

Kobe Bryant and Larry Nancy Jr.

Kevin: In that season, have you seen a Kobe's anger?

Larry: We immediately fell 30 in one game. We have never smelled opportunities as they have ended. He didn't play, but he traveled with us. And I will never forget, just like Byron Scott in the locker room after Byron Scott, just a bit like: hey, this is the NBA. There is no simple night, just like you now are now are you are now. A relaxed night is us.

Scott then turned to Kobe and asked him what he had to say to the team.

Larry: I'm ready to whip. I was signed by Adidas at the time. But some people signed a contract with Nike and wore Cobison. He said, "You, you, you, you, you", and pointed to everyone with myths. "Put down 'em down, put them in the garbage, and leave them here. You will never wear those." It was a "haha interesting moment". Then it became very, "he was not joking." Therefore, the people wearing them took them off and put them in the trash can. They will never be worn again. "

Kevin: Poor Nick Yang, right?

Larry: Speaking of Nick Young, before the last game, Kobe was incredible as his teammates. As he will sign, if you ask anything to sign, he will say, "Of course, absolutely." Therefore, we have a line after the game, but we have our things. We have our things. "Can you sign for me? Can I take pictures?" In the final analysis, we are all fans. After I was Nick Young, he signed a contract with Adidas. He will wear myths, and he will wear crazy 8S. That's the only time Nick, "Hey, can I let you sign it?" Then handed him the crazy 8S, and Kobe looks like: "guy, stand out from my sight", and then put them on them. In the trash. This is an interesting moment, because Nick and him always jokes back and forth. Nick also wore a jersey, and Kobe signed this, but this is like an interesting moment. This is indeed your relationship. This is an uninterrupted joke.

Kevin: The first game you played after you died was your lens, the tears in your eyes, crying on the bench. Do you remember that game, how difficult it is to play that game?

Larry: I am not an emotional person. I hate there.

Kevin: It doesn't matter. Fultil and feelings are not wrong.

Larry: No, you are right. I just don't look like an emotion. When I found that I didn't cry, it was just a very solemn feeling I got. But this hit me during the national anthem. We have a moment of silence, this is just I poured me. I haven't cried that. It just happened. I can't tell you what happened in the game. I don't know if we win or lose. I don't care. More bigger things happened. When we participated in the next home game in the first half, I saw a few people doing it. I wore 24 people in the first half. And I still know this jersey just because of what it means to me. I don't know how I behaved. It doesn't matter. What does this mean for me. So hang it in my house.

Larry and I watched our respective growth to watch Kobe. Like many NBA fans, both of us hate him at the stage, and then grow up to love and appreciate him. Larry has a good story, and you can also watch or listen In the performance of Kevin O'Connor.
