Largo.ai, an AI-driven analytics platform for the film, television and advertising industries, has established strategic alliances with London and Rome-based Light Pictures.
The deal announced in Cannes will see the formation of “the world’s first fully automated film sales, production and finance company”, combining Largo.ai’s patented data-driven technology with Brilliant’s film slate and expertise.
The brilliant current pipeline includes the second postwar drama directed by Bille August (“Pelle the Conqueror”, “Best Intent”), a documentary about Guillermo del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth, “Pan’s Labyrinth,” “The Shape of Water”) and Roland Joffe’s new chief, Roland Joffe (“The Mission, The Mission, The Killing Fields”). Slate will leverage insights backed by Largo.AI’s data to “optimize productivity and improve its strategic positioning to ensure maximum commercial success.” ”
Largo.ai recently received $7.5 million in investment among the company's latest backers as it shut down its Series A financing. Largo.ai partnered with Swiss Technical University in 2020, and Ecole Polytechniquefé dérale de Lausanne (EPFL) has partnered with over 600 companies, including multiple Hollywood studios and large agencies.
