Preston Albee, Sr. , Choctaw Golf: OU Signee finished second in the Class 6A State Championship and won an excellent third round, beating a 66-shot 66. Albee won the championship last year, with 216 even 216 finishes at Forest Ridge at Broken Arrow.
Owen Andrews, Washington Baseball: He beat Marlow 10-5 in the Class 3A Championship, leading the Warriors 4-2 and running 3 times. Andrews also performed well in the state tournament, throwing a full game and allowing only three hits in the quarterfinals of the 4-0 victory over Lone Grove.
Carson Brumbaugh, Sr. , Edmond Santa Fe Baseball: The Arkansas signatories played a big role in the Wolves’ Class 6A Championship game, with Owasso, who beat Owasso 10-8 on mounds and plates, played a huge game in the championship game. Brumbaugh scored 3 runs 3-4 and won the last 3 innings. He allowed only two hits and kept Owasso away from the scoreboard in the last three frames.
Gage Gibbons, So., Deer Creek tracks: Gibbons won 100 individual titles in 10.71 seconds.
Jaxson Heard, Sr. , Blanchard Baseball: The Rose State signer won four scores in the Class 4A Championship with a 4-8 win over Tuttle in the Class 4A Championship. Hurd also made a huge game in the quarterfinals victory over North Lock Creek’s Lions, hitting two home runs, throwing a full game while allowing three hits and hitting 11.
Ethan Koller, So. , Norman North Football: Norman North played a big role when he overcame the three-point goal deficit and beat the Broken Arrow of the Class 6A champion. Kohler had 1.8 seconds left to tie the game with a score of 3-3 and sent the game to overtime. Later, when Norman North defeated Broken Arrow 5-4 in the gunfight, he switched to the winning kick.
Ben Lathrop, Halitage Hall Golf: He won the Class 4A title at Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club in Ardmore. Lathrop won nine with nine shots, down from 209.
Midwest Urban Track Theus McGuire, Advanced: He won the 110-meter hurdles (14.75) and 300 obstacles (39.48) to win the bomber's first solo title.
Brody Nichols Jr., Cash Baseball: He threw 10 inches in the Class 2A-I state championship as he helped Cashion win the first title. Nichols had a 3-frame frame, defeating Dibble in the quarterfinals in the Wildcats' 10-0 five-inning running rule. He threw a full game and beat Oklahoma State 7-0 in the championship game five hits.
Aiden Tovar, Father, Curved Oak Soccer: He helped RUF-Nex win the second title. Tovar won two goals and one assist in the Class 3A Championship 4-1 defeat of Casady's Crooked Oak.
