Lamine Yamal said his critics won him after boasting about Barcelona's superiority over Real Madrid after Saturday's final victory in the Cup Copa Del Rey.
Yamal Classic The competitors are “can’t cope” with them this season.
His comment came after the third win in October, 4-0, and a 5-2 victory in January and a 5-2 victory in the Spanish Super Copa final in January.
"While I won, they said nothing," Yamal said in a press conference on Tuesday. "When they beat me, they can."
Yamal, 17, spoke ahead of Wednesday's first leg of the Champions League semi-finals against Italian side Inter Milan, where he will earn his 100th Barcelona time.
The game played at such a young age was a great game, but the Spanish international player didn't take his first step like a teenage rookie.
This season, he weighed 14 goals and 24 assists to keep Barcelona chasing triple and insisted that no one was afraid when he stepped out to face opponents like Madrid and Inter.
“I don’t have any fear, but I do feel the motivation and put those butterflies in my belly before the game,” he added when asked if there was any stun before the big game.
"I think that's a good thing. As for any fear, I left it behind the park in Matarot (where he grew up).
“I won’t say I feel any pressure.
Yamal's rapid rise in Barça, coupled with his fact on the right, naturally led to a comparison with Lionel Messi, but he was still focused on his journey.
"I won't compare with anyone, especially with (Messi)," he said. "I'm going to leave it to you (the media).
"I tried to be myself and follow my own path. Obviously, I admire him as the best player ever, but I don't compare with him."
Yamal can write the next chapter of his emerging career by helping Barça surpass the International Front to enter the first Champions League final since 2015.
Coach Hansi Flick said that despite the weekend's 120 minutes against Madrid, the players are ready to play against Serie A again.
"Everyone is focused and knows how important this semi-final is to reach the final," Flick said in a press conference. "For Real Madrid's victory, it's important to positive resonance. It may also push you.
"For me, that's the key. We know we have to work hard to get to the finals. Inter players at one age may be their last chance to get to the finals and they will give 100%. It's obvious. It's what we're going to do."
The formats of the two teams cannot be different. When Barcelona celebrates Classic Win, Inter lost three straight games in all games.
"It's different." When asked if Inter Milan's losses would affect them in Barcelona, Flick added. “The Champions League is also a big chance to win the championship. Like us, they have two games to go to the final. It will be completely different.
"We only focus on the first game, not the second leg (in Milan next week). This is the first step. Inter Milan is a tough opponent. They have a good defense and I think one of the best opponents in Europe. They also know how to build with experienced players, great midfielders and two strong shooters.
"They are also very dangerous when they transition. It's a tough game and we have to be prepared. They have overloaded the middle of the court with five players and we have to cover it up and protect it."
Barça looks to stay without Robert Lewandowski and Alejandro Balde in the competition. Both players missed the Cup final and neither player was able to train on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Inter was also being pushed back to practice before the game started, although they will not have Benjamin Pavard, who was injured over the weekend.
