Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said she was "very confident" to both Arrested for stolen wallet Illegal in the country.

"These are professional criminals," Norm told CBS News in an interview with the U.S.-Mexico border on Monday. “They have been committing crimes against many people in this country for years.”

Noem's wallet was stolen with his family in a restaurant in Washington, D.C. She said the bag was sitting between her feet when it was taken away.

Norm said she didn't think she was the target, it was just a coincidence of picking up her wallet.

"But his acceptance of himself is professional," she said. "So, you know, that's what Americans don't have to endure. It's not about me, it's not about my family, and, you know, people live in communities that have been going through for many years. So we can bring these people into and let them face their consequences and get them out of the country, get them out of our country."

Mario Bustamante Leiva, 49, was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Saturday and charged with wire fraud, identity theft and robbery, linked to three wallet robberies this month, the Justice Department said Monday. The ministry said Chilean national Leiva was illegally in the United States.

The Secret Service confirmed the second suspect, Christian Rodrigo Montecino Sanzana, 51, was arrested in Walgreens, South Beach. Immigration and customs enforcement filed two suspects with immigration detainees.

Neither suspect listed a lawyer in the DC federal court database.

Nome's schoolbag contains Three law enforcement sources previously told CBS News, including her driver's license, passport, DHS Access badge, check and about $3,000 in cash, including her driver's license, passport, DHS Access badge, check and about $3,000 in sensitive personal belongings. Norm's phone is not in her bag, but credit cards, makeup and medications are stolen items.

The Justice Department accused the suspect of charging more than $200 on Noem's credit card.
