Exercise seriously
Not every day the New England Revolution and New England Patriots owners attend city meetings, but that's exactly what Everett residents experience on April 30.
WCVB reports that Robert Kraft and his son Jonathan Kraft attended the Everett community meeting to talk about the Kraft Group’s plans for the proposed stadium in Everett, which will serve as a revolutionary football field, concert venue, and a waterfront park.
"It's still something that can bring great pride and honor," Robert Kraft said.
Robert Kraft said the stadium will be built on the same site today’s closed power plant, 173 Alford St., covering 43 acres.
"If we were lucky enough to be able to build this facility in Everett, we hope it will really be the heart of the community," said Jonathan Kraft.
Robert Kraft and Jonathan Kraft left the meeting without asking any questions or comments from residents. A resident spoke with WCVB that it seems that the stadium “will be everything in the sun” as none of Kraft provides a solid purpose for the project.

According to a WCVB report, the stadium will sit among 24,000 attendees, offer 75 parking spaces and has multiple uses as a space instead of a football field.
Kraft Group bargained with the City of Everett for a community welfare agreement before applying for a license.
Robert Kraft also said at the meeting that the stadium would be privately funded.
“The main concerns I hear from community members are: transportation, transportation, transportation and what it will produce in terms of community welfare,” Everett City Councilman Robert Vanpen told WCVB.
The Kraft Group's driving force for the New England Revolution has been going on since at least 2023.
