The 2025 IESA Track and Field State Final will be held for two weekends in May at Eastside Center in East Peoria.
The IESA Track and Field State Finals entered its 92nd boy party and its 51st girl meeting. The state final will include 60 overall competitions each weekend, offering 14 events each year for seventh and eighth grade boys, seventh and eighth grade girls, and four wheelchair events.
Here’s what you need to know about the 2025 IESA Track and Field Status Finals:
The IESA 1A/2A track and live state finals are Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17. The IESA 3A/4A track track and field state finals are Friday, May 23, May 23 and Saturday, May 24.
Live events will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, running events will begin at 1:15 p.m., and all events will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday. The event is expected to end at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The athletes' parade will begin at 10:15 a.m. Friday and 8:20 a.m. Saturday.
The state meeting will be held at the Eastside Center, 1 East Peoria, Illinois.
The facility is located near Interstate 74.
Tickets for the event are $12 and can be purchased online on iesa.org and through the GO Fan App. Tickets are in cash for $15. Preschoolers are free. Fans will receive the wristband that they always wear. The wristband will allow exit and re-entry. The gates will be open to the public at 9:30 a.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Parking is $5.
According to IESA, 606 member schools entered the 2025 state series. There will be more than 2,600 student-athletes on the first weekend, representing 276 of the 306 eligible schools in Level 1A/2A.
