The New York Knicks recovered their 20-point deficit against the Boston Celtics in Game 1 and they decided to do it again on Wednesday night at TD Garden.
If Game 1 wasn't shocking enough, Game 2 provided another quarter-thriller that led to a 91-90 Knicks victory, who returned from a 20-point hole and took advantage of the Celtics' icy shooting performance.
Now that the series is heading to New York this weekend, the Knicks have a lead in commanding the best series, no one has seen it.

But that's because Boston failed to play from the floor in the fourth quarter with 8:40 left since Boston's three-pointer at Payton Pritchard. Yes, for eight minutes or more, the Celtics couldn’t let one go despite their wide appearance.
Meanwhile, Mikal Bridges is once again a defensive hero, earning 14 fourth quarter points to help the Knicks comeback. But it was Jalen Brunson's two-pointer on Jrue Holiday that brought the Knicks to the start of the game three games since OG Anunoby.
Knicks shocked the Celtics with overtime victory in Game 1
The Knicks' lead reached two minutes at 87-86, and both teams knew it would fall on the wire again. Jayson Tatum drove to the coast with a 18.1 second bell to weave the Knicks and slam dunks, which gave Boston a slight 90-89 profit.
On the other hand, however, Brunson made a holiday foul and received two free throws to restore the lead. He nailed both, which boiled down to another defensive possession in New York. For Boston, they just hope one of their stars can pass and save the victory.

But he was met by multiple Knicks as Tatum tried to drive toward the hoop, and just as he raised the baseline jumper, Bridges surprised him with his long wingspan and snatched the ball to win.
Bridges did almost exactly the same thing in the first game, when he passed the ball from Jaylen Brown to win.
The Knicks certainly don't have the best offensive performance, especially Brunson compared to his usual work. He scored 17 points in the game, while New York scored 43% and 29% of the shots.

However, Boston had another tough night on the offensive end, with only 10 of its 40 3-point attempts. They missed 45 times in Game 1 and now add 30 more series. As a team, the Celtics shot just 36.2% from the field.
The third game will be held Saturday at Madison Square Garden in anticipation of 3:30 PM ET TIP-OFF.
