Knicks fans call for Tom Thibodeau to shoot in playoff injury excuse

Knicks fans called for Tom Thibodeau to shoot excuses in playoff injury, initially appearing on Athlon Sports.

Getting more than 8 million people living in New York City (and millions of people living in their surroundings) to agree to most of the content is not easy. However, after the loss, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau was placed in front of the microphone.

The Knicks ended their season on Saturday after suffering a 125-108 loss in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, named 125-108, after they had their biggest success in the playoffs, with the Knicks making a farther-ranging playoff game in the playoffs than last year, and they scored far more in the playoffs than last year.

Thibodeau tried to meet with the media after the game and suggested that Mitchell Robinson be injured, mostly due to an ankle injury, and Jalen Brunson was injured, causing the Knicks' fate.

"I'm proud of what these guys have done. We have to go through a lot of things and I think we handled this part very well."

"I'm proud of what these guys have done," Thiberdo said. "Because we have to go through a lot. I thought we handled this part very well. Mitch went out for most of the season and we got a late prognosis so we had to adjust. Then we made a deal with Kat (Karl-Anthony Towns) and brought him into him. Then, Precied (Achiuwa) got hurt in the first place and Landry (Shamet) got hurt in the first place so we had to fix this.

"Then we also have to handle Jalen outing at the end of the season, so there are a lot of moving parts. But they were fighting and moving forward. I have a lot of respect for this."

Understandably, Thibodeau will try to wrap up the season with a positive view. But, Knicks fans were tired of the shortage with Thibodeau’s helm and were clearly in no mood to hear how Landry Shamet, who had been missing for two months last fall, hurt the Knicks.

Knicks commentators almost unanimously called for Tibodo to be fired.

One person wrote: "Thibs can't coach next year and nothing will change."

One person frankly said: "Hope you can go out by the end of June."

Another release: "Thank you for your contribution, Thibs. I wish you good luck in your future efforts."

Another even next coach picked it out: "The next press conference introduces new head coach Michael Malone."
