BBC Introduction
"It's so crazy, I released my first song just two years ago and now I'm on a huge arena tour around the world," Rising Popstar Alessi Rose said.
The 22-year-old said it was a "torna" since she created her first music, made in a makeshift bedroom studio and now supports music like Dua Lipa and Tate McRae for the upcoming world tour.
Ross said she was excited to travel in the UK, Europe and the United States over the next few months.
"From just finishing his own tour to the Arena Tour in Madrid with Dua Lipa was pretty whipped, but in the best of all," Ross said.
Alessi's popularity path growing up in Derby didn't always cut out clearly, saying she never knew how to get into the industry.
"I don't have anyone working in music, and I don't even play instruments in my family, so I don't know how to meet music or people who can help you," Ms. Ross said.
Ross knew he wanted to be a musician all the time, and he said there was a lot of time during the Kuved pandemic as a catalyst for starting his own music.
"I remember when I lived in Littleover's home, I was in the room, where I had the weirdest music settings of my old keyboard and the 15-year-old Macbook I was writing songs," Ms. Ross said.
“I had a fixed goal to make music that could be sent to the BBC’s introduction, and then I knew that would be an exposure.”
Rose continues to perform at Ynot in Derbyshire after playing her repertoire on Dean Jackson's BBC introduction? Festivals, Reading and Leeds Festivals and opened in August 2024 for American singer and songwriter Noah Kahan.
"It felt like a whirlwind, not long since my first session at Nottingham Metronome," Ms Rose said.
“I’m so happy for myself and others that there’s a way to get into the music industry.”
Since completing the 2024 UK tour, Ms Ross said she felt “comfortable” from performing on smaller venues to larger stadiums.
"I've been kidding because we have a lot of stages and effects, and people say it feels like an arena show," Ms. Ross said.
“Now that bringing my show to those Dua Lipa stages in actual sizes feels like a natural transition and I feel very comfortable.
“Sometimes I walk out of the stage and I tell myself why I’m so calm, that’s too big, there are a lot of people out there.”
“I’m always happy and proud of my work and excitement beyond all other feelings, and I’m always happy to be on stage.”
Aside from the excitement on the stage, Alessi and her band have been enjoying some unusual fun while visiting the world.
Ms. Rose said in a hotel room in Lyon, France: “My band and I will eat pasta downstairs, our obsession with pickles.
“The pasta for tomorrow and tonight is pickles, and that’s a real gorgeous life touring with Dua Lipa.”
Ms. Ross said that on a tour with Dua Lipa, Tate McRae was “so ridiculous and ridiculous”.
"I appreciate their music and career for so long," Ms. Rose said.
"I love Tate Mcrrae and I'm so grateful that she has me. It's a crazy journey throughout America. I can't believe it's the real sentence I said.
“I haven’t met Dua Lipa yet, but we’ve spoken on Instagram news. She’s so glad she’s an incredible performer.
“It feels like a lot has happened in such a short time, but I’m very happy to see what the next few years will look like.”
