Jett Pitts set the tone on the mound, throwing into two full shots, both of them setting the tone on the way to victory at Tait Orme. He distributed six innings in five innings due to running rules.

That saved a split for Griffinfield's Lakers. They lost 13-0 to the Senators and were helped by five Kalispells. The second inning of 11 set the tone for Helena, who ended the game with five innings under the Rules of Pity.
The Lakers were already 5-0 before making their second mistake in the second game. Tanner Steen's two singles made the batsman hit five more batsmen.
In the second game, Buckmaster started and threw five innings, allowed two hits and two walks, and made seven strikeouts. Nikunen received a save, allowing one hit and two walks in two innings.
The two won the pitcher showdown with Helena's Eli Peterson - who beat nine games in 5 2-3 innings. Each team collected only three hits, and the Lakers improved to 9-4 during the season.
