AEG announced Thursday that Katie Pandolfo has been promoted to general manager of Crypto.com Arena, home to the NBA Los Angeles Lakers, the Kings of the NHL, the WNBA Sparks and the Grammy Awards.
Pandolfo comes from another AEG property near Carson, the dignified Health Sports Park, and since 2004, she has also been GM since 2009.
During his tenure, the 125-acre campus (host of the Los Angeles Galaxy MLS Games) hosted seven MLS Cup Championships, Olympic and World Cup qualifying football matches, three seasons of the Los Angeles Chargers, NFL NFL Football (and the Sofi Stadium builds) and Champion Boxing.
Pandolfo will oversee the day-to-day operations of the busy Crypto.com arena and report directly to AEG President and CEO Dan Beckerman.
"Katie brings extensive experience to this role, guiding the operation and management of Dignity Health Sports Park for two decades," Beckman said in a statement. "She is a talented leader with a strong track record of success in delivering world-class events and is known for guiding and motivating her team."
“Her dedication and passion will be an invaluable asset in leading the Crypto.com Arena into the future, especially as the Arena continues to build its legacy as a premier sports and entertainment destination through high-profile global events, including the 2026 Grammy Awards, including the 2027 NCAA NCAA NCAA Regional Men’s Basketball Championship and the 2028 Olympic and 2028 Olympic and Parempic and Parempic games.
Pandolfo took over as retired Lee Zeidman on June 1 since opening in October 1999.
“Lee has had an indelible impact on AEG, Crypto.com Arena and the City of Los Angeles, and his retirement will mark the end of an outstanding chapter of his career,” Beckerman noted. “I thank Lee for his friendship and support over the years and his wholehearted gratitude to his many years of leadership and his many contributions.”
Pandolfo is a founding member of the AEG Women’s Leadership Council and serves on the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission and the City of Carson Economic Development Commission.
With the promotion, Pandolfo grew up in Chicago after graduating from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin and worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he will become a rare sports executive with experience working with teams in the MLB, NFL, MLS, NHL, NHL, NHL and NBA.
“I am delighted to join Crypto.com Arena’s talented team and look forward to working with the arena’s management team and partners to continue to deliver an exceptional experience to impact the future of culture and entertainment,” she said.
