Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori claimed in a new legal letter that Beverly Hills dentist Rere provided the West with a "dangerous" mono-denitrate gas, causing chemical dependence to cause neurological damage and "emotional instability."

New York-based attorney Andrew Cherkasky said his company outlined the couple’s claims in a letter to Dr. Thomas Connelly on Thursday. The letter told the dentist that a malfeasance lawsuit will be filed on behalf of the couple at the end of 90 days. “I can confirm that we represent you and Bianca Rolling stones. (Initially, the letter was shared by West's spokesman Milo Yiannopoulos, who posted it on X.)

“Our clients intend to file lawsuits against your medical malpractice, professional negligence and related torts and contractual violations,” Rolling stones read. “Your conduct is significantly below applicable standards of care, a breach of your legal duties and professional obligations, and has caused significant harm to our clients.”

Connery did not respond to a request for comment issued Thursday.

In the letter, Connelly began treatment for West in early 2024, performing various procedures such as placing custom titanium crowns. Attorneys alleged Connelly provided West with nitrous oxide of “no number and frequency of legal dental or medical defense.” He claimed Connery continued to provide West with nitric acid for "pure entertainment use" and directed the rapper, now known as Ye, how to manage itself.

"You even handed over the large 'surgical-sized' nitrous oxide monoxide tank to your personal residence, including the one he shared with Ms. Censori, effectively enabling him to inhale nitrous oxide outside of any medical environment," the letter reads. "You show disregard for his health and safety by effectively turning effective medical anesthetics into a take-home medication for unsupervised use of the patient."

In the letter, lawyers accused Connelly of observing in May 2024 that West "displayed signs of dependence and neurological damage, including reports that he often wore an inhaler mask, discussed nitrous oxide obsessed with other signs of overuse and toxicity." Attorneys accused Connelly of intentionally ignoring these "red flags" and continuing with alleged misconduct. Cherkasky claimed Connelly even admitted in text messages and emails that he made a "mistake" in his treatment decision. The letter states: "The fact that you feel forced to apologize in writing emphasizes the seriousness of your behavior and will serve as evidence of your negligence and awareness of your inner gui."

Attorneys said Connery took advantage of West's vulnerable country, and he allegedly charged him $50,000 a month in a "continuous supply" of nitrous oxide and related services. In the letter, lawyers accused Connery of abruptly withdrawing his service after “cultivating” the so-called addiction because “censorship is rising.” The letter claimed Connery had a responsibility to ensure West was helped.

"You failed to ensure you get any follow-up medical care, detoxification or referral to a specialist to address your negligence, recklessness or intentional oxidative dependence and neurological damage," the letter said. "Your mental health has suffered severe deterioration due to your behavior. His condition of confusion, emotional instability, anxiety and depression increased."

West has sought or planned to receive medical intervention to detox and recover, which it attributes to “significant financial losses” in the couple’s marriage and problems with nitroga dependence. It said: “Due to the harm you caused to Ye, Ms. Censori was deprived of her husband’s company, support, service and marital relationship during her husband’s injury and recovery.”
