Kangana Ranaut and Horror Drama

Award-winning Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut (“Urgent,” “Queen”) crossed Hollywood to play her first leadership role in the horror drama “Blessing Becomes Evil.”

The project comes from the Lion Movie and will watch Ranaut Star with Tyler Posey ("Tulsa King") and Scarlet Rose Rose Stallone ("Tulsa King").

Production is scheduled to start in New York this summer, with producers specifically noting that they have chosen our location to “avoid any uncertainty from the recently announced Trump industry tariffs.”

Director Anurag Rudra ("New Me", "Tailing Pond") will be in the script he co-wrote with Gatha Tiwary, president and founder of Lions Movies. Both will serve as producers, Wade Muller ("Elephant White", "Occupation: Rain") has been proven to be director of photography.

According to the summary, the film follows a Christian couple who have experienced devastating miscarriage and bought an abandoned farm with a dark past. Their love and faith were quickly tested by a vicious existence.

“Born and spent my childhood in rural India, I was told that stories were embedded in my mind and heart,” Rudra said. “This folklore is so special that I really believe in all the stories and hope to show them internationally through the art of cinema, which is the strongest and most beautiful way to connect with dreams and reality.”

Tiwary added: "Stories like 'Blessed Be The Evil' are very rare. Lion Movies have developed a harsh narrative with unprecedented suspense and drama. It also has huge international market potential in streaming and sales."

Ranaut brings considerable star power to the project. Not only is Dora Acer a well-known actor, winning four national film awards and four film awards, he is also a film producer and politician currently serving as a member of parliament in Lok Sabha, India. Her directorial "Emergency" depicts Prime Minister Indira Gandhi will be released globally earlier this year.

Posey broke out as the leader of MTV's "Teen Wolf" series and subsequent revival films (he also produced), before horrifying with "the truth or daring." Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin's daughter Stallone appeared in the crime comedy "Reach Me" and recently appeared in "The Gunslingers" with Nicolas Cage.

The project will be introduced to international buyers in the upcoming Cannes film market. London/Stroud Casting is dealing with other castings.

Lion Movies is also currently developing “U.S. Import”, described as a crime drama, exploring family bonds, sibling competition, success, corruption and greed.
