Social media users noted that Harris' seats appeared several rows from the court, and overall lack of reception as Harris and Emhoff rose.
Comedian Jeff Dye, who attended the meeting, shared a video of Harris and Emhoff's seats.
In an article shared on X, he said: "Kamala Harris played for the Lakers Warriors.

After Harris's campaign failed, speculation about the political future of the former vice president has linked her to the 2026 California governor bid.
Before Thursday NBA games, Harris visited the area damaged by the Palisades wildfires and spoke to displaced residents in the Red Cross Shelter.

“I’ve been home for two weeks and three days,” Harris said. “My plan is to stay in touch with my community, stay in touch with leaders and figure out what I can do to support them.”
When pressed further, Harris replied that she “will be here no matter what office I hold for, because that’s the right thing to do.”
