Jordan Spieth was almost defeated in a tournament this weekend when a group of fans watched as the player who shot from the gallery was forced to dodge to avoid being hit by the ball.

Spieth on the second shot of the day can be seen on the radio of the 31-year-old Golf Channel in the commemorative competition on Sunday, June 1 in Dublin, Ohio.

As he hits the ball from the rough game, several fans who can attend events at the Muirfield Village Golf Club can stand directly in front of his camera in the gallery. When the wrong ball passes over their heads, they quickly react by dodging, just missing them.

according to NewsweekAfter nearly a turnover, Spieth's game went even smoother, with his next shot reaching 22 feet.

Despite the progress, Spieth tied for seventh with four others, defeating champion Scottie Scheffler with -1-1 after the combination of the champion and birdies left him unable to get any clues. However, his bonus is still important because Golf Week Reports said he brought a $603,200 bonus.

Scheffler then became the first player since Tiger Woods successfully defended his championship in the Memorial Championships and won his third victory in the 2025 PGA Tour.
