Jordan blocked their position in the 2026 Championship on the penultimate day in Asia, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Sohad Idrissi, 48, watched the game with her siblings and laughed proudly, telling AFP that her team played "a beautiful game worthy of qualifying for the World Cup."
"The joy of today is twice as good as Eid, and the joy of Nashamma's qualifying match," she said.
Fadi Qalanzi, a 21-year-old college student, called victory a "ultimate dream."
"Our team has performed well and they really deserve to be eligible," he added.
Osama Al-Shreeda, a retired civil servant in Osama, also called it a dream come true.
"I've been following Jordan football since 1978, and my relatives used to play with the national team," he said.
"This is a great opportunity for our team and its players to be recognized globally," he added, calling it an achievement not only for Jordan, but for the wider Arab region.
"It's the time, and it's the joy we've been waiting for for a long time," said Nashat Badr, a 55-year-old teacher.
For Uzbekistan, the 0-0 average score against the United Arab Emirates is enough to get a second automatic qualification position in Group A who is behind Iran.
Now, with the eight guaranteed qualifiers in Asia - after only four Qatar's 2022 edition, Uzbekistan is likely to strengthen its competitors.
Although most of its teams compete in the domestic league, it includes some European stars such as Rome striker Eldor Shomurodov and Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov.
Jordan's highest player is the winger Mousa Tamari of French club Rennes.
