"I will tell you what, no doubt, don't guess anymore, never challenge US President Donald Trump. He is the party leader, he is the most important politician of this generation, probably in the modern era, and he did a great job for the people."
When asked if he talked to Musk since the tirade, Johnson said Friday morning: “We exchanged words, but I won’t talk about what it is.”
Johnson also said Republicans were upset by the criticism of billionaires often referred to as the world's richest man.

"Members are not wavering at all. We will pass this legislation by our deadline and we are very bullish on that," he said.
Asked about Johnson's call for solidarity, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News numbers, "President Trump is focused on making our country great again and passing a big beautiful bill."
Trump told Fox News's Bret Baier in an interview Friday that he was not interested in talking with Musk and was not worried that Musk threatened to launch a third party.

Musk accused Republicans of not working hard to cut federal spending through their budget settlement bill, which aims to raise Trump's priorities in tax cuts, immigration, energy, defense and debt restrictions.
