Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel explode Trump's movie tariffs

Late night hosts are entering a conversation around President Donald Trump’s proposed film tariffs to shock Hollywood.

The latter host said Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel launched their respective talk shows on Monday, blowing up Trump "now aiming his sabotage ball at Hollywood."

"The American film industry is dying rapidly," Trump wrote on Sunday's Truth Social Platform. "Other countries are offering various incentives to keep our film producers and studios away from the United States. Many other areas in Hollywood and many other areas within the United States have been devastating. It's the unanimous effort of other countries, so it's a national security threat. It's everything else, apart from everything else, messaging and publicity!"

The President continued: "So, I am authorizing the Department of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative to immediately start the process of imposing 100% tariffs on all movies made on foreign lands. We once again hope to make movies in the U.S.!"

"Do we do it?" Kimmel added: "Because I don't care where they are. I really don't. I think this is what the late, great Hannibal Lecter wants. Sonic, an illegal immigrant hedgehog, is a national security threat and he has to stop!"
Kimmel continues on Monday's episode Jimmy Kimmel live broadcast!“It’s not just another idea for Trump on Sunday night.

The host noted that he was not kidding because Trump's "special ambassador" was Hollywood's Voight revealed earlier Monday that he seemed to have plans to bring more production back to the United States

"This is reportedly where he gets the idea for a tariff movie - the 86-year-old father from Angelina Jolie, who wouldn't talk to," Kimmel quipped. "What a great idea. Next year, White lotus Will be set up at the Hampton Inn. ”
