The fight against Jimmy Buffett's property has sparked a huge legal battle.

His legacy has filed a petition to disconnect Richard Mozenter, the co-trust who manages the legacy of the late musician, from her "best interest" for failing to "a marriage trust created for her interests."

According to the document, Mocent finally gave Jane's estimate that the net income of marriage trusts would be less than $2 million a year, a yield below 1%.

Mozenter “accepted that over the past 18 months, Margaritaville (which owns about 20% of Margaritaville) has paid about $14 million in distributions, but he decided not to include any estimates of Margaritaville’s future allocation for the marriage trust.”

The document noted that Margaritaville told Jane that Margaritaville “continues to evaluate future business opportunities and how they deploy existing current assets.”

According to the analysis, he told her that the trust would not pay her annual expenses, saying she could consider making a “adjustment” or selling her real estate to make up the difference.

Jane's document states: "If the Marriage Trust does align with the financial gains proposed by Mr. Mocente, it will confirm that Mr. Mozenter either does not have the ability to manage the trust or is unwilling to act in the best interest of Mrs. Buffett."

After getting married in 1977, Buffett and Jane welcomed three children, including Savannah, 46, Delaney, 33, who were born in 1994 and adopted by Buffett and Jane.
