Jeremy Latcham to be produced for Sycamore

Sycamore Studios, a children’s and family animation studio that blends first-class animation with timeless storytelling, has leveraged veteran producer Jeremy Latcham (“Avengers,” “Gauders of the Galaxy”) to pass his upcoming animation feature, “Zita the SpaceGirl” as executive producer, Latcham Party Banner. Known for making some of the largest live-action films in Marvel Studios, “Zita the SpaceGirl” marks Latcham’s first foray into animation. Andrew Pace (“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor in Phieves”) of Latcham Pictures will also serve as producer for the project.

According to Ben Hatke's No. 1 New York Times bestselling trilogy, "Zita the Spacegirl" follows an adventure girl who is pushed into a cosmic adventure when her best friend is kidnapped by aliens. Zita is determined to find her way home, and her brave sacrifice to others turns her into a love hero. Macmillan has won over 20 awards and honors, including the famous American Library Association’s famous children’s books, the Cybil Award and Cybil Award and several Book of the Year Awards, including Kirkus and School School Library Journal.

The film, announced in December 2024 by Sycamore Studios CEO Christian McGuigan and CCO Timothy Reckart, joining an increasingly lineup of IP-based features, including Bob Barlen and Cal Brunker's "Doctor Dolittle" ("Paw Patrol: "Paw Patrol: The Movie: The Movie: Paw Patrol: "Paw Patrol: "Mighty Movie"").

Latcham is the producer of "Dungeons & Dragons: The Honfore the El Royale Period." He is a senior consultant for Project Miracle and is producing and producing a series of films in Amazon/MGM and Sony Pictures. Latcham also reached an overall deal with Hasbro Entertainment, where he is working on a "D&D" sequel and has built projects on Skydance and Lionsgate. Latcham previously served as Senior Vice President of Production and Development at Marvel Studios, where he was executive producer of "Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Avengers: Avengers: Over Euttron", "Marvel's Avengers" and "Gauders of Gaudians of Galaxy." Latcham is also the deputy producer of "Iron Man" and the co-producer of "Iron Man 2".
