Before Jasper Troy won the WWE NXT brand contract, he dreamed of dominating between title tags rather than between ropes.

Troy's real name is Antoine Frazer, who decided to start entering the WWE ring and played college football in northern Iowa. He told Fox News Digital that entering the company was always his dream, even when he picked up a stick with his friends.

"For me, wrestling is always a dream. I know it's so overdue, but for me, I'm really locked up every Monday, every Thursday. On Sunday, I'll look at the little trailer paid view channel just to glimpse the pay-per-view view view," he said. "For me, it's begging for the latest 'Smackdown vs. Raw' (video game). Go to my friend's house, and that's what we play all day."

Troy said football is no longer fun because he played with the Panthers and completed his college career.

Ultimately, he said, football is no longer fun. The sports he gradually fell in love with were dissatisfied with.

“I’m playing football and I’m lucky to be able to play football successfully, but like (Tyra Mae Steele) said, it’s no longer fun anymore.

"It's no longer something that makes me love the sport, especially at the college level, D1 level. There's so much more to where I'm from, I was exposed to it, but I don't think I'm enough to adapt to the surroundings and the rest of the team."

There was a time when he had to decide what happened next, and his heart was professional wrestling. He said he had the support of his coaches, but they begged him to finish the school first.

“When Covid Hit, I just had a chance to get out of football and really figure out what I wanted to do with my life,” he told Fox News Digital. “I love football and I can continue to chase this dream and see how far I can really do it, and I have been seeing more wrestling on TV during Covid.

"It was the perfect time for me. Once I was in my career, I had a trial with WWE, and after that, I just fell in love and that's all. That was the fire I was a kid. It was a whole new experience for me, and after that, I said, 'I've finished football. I'm full-time WWE Superstar." ”
