Golden Trailer Awards, a well-known event commemorating marketing executives and the company that creates film trailers, ads and posters, will be hosted by James Murray, the Murr of TBS’s “Unrealistic Jokers.” The event will be held Thursday, May 29 at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Murr is a comedian, writer and producer who served as senior vice president of development at Northsouth Productions for nearly a decade before rising comedy fame on “Unrealistic Jokers.” He is now the owner of an unrealistic studio. Murr is also an international bestselling author with his work including the sci-fi horror "Awakening" trilogy, the suspense thriller "You'd better watch out," "Don't move" and "Stowaway" and "Stowaway" and "51 Interns" in the intermediate series. His horror movie Don't Move is coming soon.
“Murr’s comedy is the perfect match for the most fun awards ceremony on the calendar,” said Evelyn Brady, executive director of the Golden Trailer Awards. "His performance 'unrealistic jokes' put the concept of hidden cameras on the head, leaving Moore and his friends with strangers ridiculous situations. He would keep the performance lights and buzz with great spirit."
The host who joined Murr on the stage was Chanel Ali, the host of the Food Network’s digital series “Food Debate!”. One of the 15 comedians with the deadline watches in 2025; Brooklyn's stand-up, writer and actor Nico Carney's stand-up disorder covers his experience as a transgender person who grew up in Savannah, Georgia, and other stuff he finds stupid and funny. The honors of “Daily Show” writer Dina Hashem also include “Sex Life of a Female College Student,” BJ Novak’s “Pre-Installation” and Ramy Youssef’s “#1 Happy Family,” whose independent work includes a comedy center with a 3 million viewed comedy center; Chloe Radcliffe, a New York-based stand-up comedian, actor-writer, invited this year as one of the 15 comedians on the deadline, was last year one of the Condor comedians you should and will know about, and just wrapped the work on “Is this thing?” across from Cooper, Will Arnett (Will) Arnett and Laura Dern, as well as her NYT show “Cheating”; Becky Robinson is also a deadline comedian whose role is called “Housewife”
The outspoken golfer's burlesque not only led the booking, but it was the original song "Mom Needs Paws" and even an event called "Housewife Vacation Weekend Fans."
"These speakers really represent a wide range of emerging comedy," said Monica Brady, executive producer of the show. "With Murr, they're sure to make the show fun and fresh."
The celebrations are often sold out, attracting a heavy group of studio and internet marketing executives, representatives from creative agencies, media and celebrities.
A total of 114 winners in different categories were presented with the Golden Trailer Award. Last year, when Mocean won the award for "Take Take" in the "Deadpool & Wolverine & Wolverine" trailer for Disney/Marvel Studios, a celebration of more than 1,000 studio marketing executives, movie fans, celebrities and trailer editors. Disney won the most wins with 19, followed by Netflix with 17.
