Dutch Christian tennis player Iyla Holmes reached the state final with a fourth single on Saturday, May 31, resulting in the Maroons finishing seventh in the 3rd state final.
Holmes survived 1-6, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5) of Mia Owings in East Grand Rapids to reach the finals. In the final, she lost to Detroit Country Festival best seed Helen Benjamin, 6-3, 6-2.
The Maroons scored 13 points and finished seventh. Hamilton ranked ninth with 9 points. Detroit Country Day won the championship with 34.
Goodbye Esmay Klingenberg of Holland Christian, Holland, won her next game 6-2, 6-1, reaching the quarterfinals before her game ends.
Lily Wierenga and Chloe Tait reached the quarterfinals with a 3rd double, beating Grosse Ile before bowing to top-seeded Bloomfield Hills Marian.
Hope of Holland Christian Bruinsma and Isa van Klompenberg defeated Vicksburg in the second round, defeating the quarterfinals in the second round before falling to top Cranbrook Kingswood.
Gabi of Holland Christian ranked first and Gamryn Nadig ranked second, winning one game in each match before losing in the second round, with Lucia Van Klompenberg and Izzy Delcalso in 4th doubles. Kassie fienhouse and Stella Klooster lost to Eastern Forest Hills in the second round.
Hamilton's Abigail Atwood and Sophia Blauwkamp reached the quarterfinals after winning a three-pointer from Parma Western in the first round, losing to Chelsea.
Allison Lezman and Sophia Jorba Martinez beat Vicksburg 6-2, 6-1 in the second round before falling to Cranbrook Kingswood that quarter.
In the 4th doubles match, Hamilton's Maddie Jipping and Taylor Heer defeated Forest Hills Eastern in the second round to reach Chelsea before reaching the quarter.
Hamilton's Erin Meiste was goodbye in second place, then beat Vicksburg's Maya Grossman 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 before falling to the quarterfinals.

Danielle Lebster Ahd A Bye of West Ottawa was playing in the 2nd singles before defeating Audrey Yu Yu, who was 7-5, 6-3 in the quarterfinals, where she was beaten by Alison Doka of Stoney Creek, 6-3, 6-3.
Jessica Zhang was goodbye in third place and then lost a 3-pointer in the second round, with Kayla Jones also ranked fourth.
Eden Hamilton and Maggie Rothstein scored a 13-11 three-set tiebreak in the No. 1 doubles, winning the first round before falling to Novi.
