Coachella and Stagecoach helped start the festival season from the California desert, but half the world is the other festival debuting at the Intercontinental Mamunagu Resort in the Maldives.

Known as "Seachella", the Music & Food Festival takes over the resort's seaside locale, performs a live show, local cuisine and a unique activation. Elevated Festival experience.

It was the first Seachella festival ever, and organizers promoted it as an opportunity for guests to experience the bucket list island, but also a replacement for national events that often exuded huge crowds and chaos. In addition to Humes, former Capital XTRA radio host DJ Charlesy played live shows throughout the festival, including a daytime beach party, and saw aerial performances with three-storey rotating "flowers" as the sky, while guests enjoy snacks from oyster bars and champagne stalls. The chef also offers locally inspired fares at several restaurants in the Maamunagau resort (including fresh tuna and reef fish, as well as curry and noodle dishes drawn from the flavors of neighbouring India and Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is pleasantly optimistic and laid back, and the revelers blend freely while eating, dancing and chasing the sun.

There is also enough time to relax for those who just want to relax.
