Initial group, untitled Tap Matt Leonard as Corporate Communications VP

Initial Group and Untitled Entertainment have hired former UTA corporate communications manager Matt Leonard as vice president of corporate communications.

In this new position, Leonard will lead the corporate communications program outside his Los Angeles office, for initial groups and untitled corporate communications programs.

Leonard brings ten years of strategic PR and communications experience, most recently as a corporate communications manager at UTA. During UTA, Leonard managed external communications for the agency’s film and television divisions – boosting execution profiles, collaborating on customer PR strategies, leading film markets and acquisition announcements, and contributing to messaging across the company.

Prior to entering UTA, Leonard was a senior communications manager at the Sundance Institute, where he was responsible for the festival press office and supported the advocacy work of the institute’s lab and artist program. Before transitioning to entertainment, Leonard began his fashion career, working at Comme des Garçons and Fashion PR Agency PR Consulting, where he supported including Dover Street Market, Tiffany & Co. , Saks Fift - Customers like Fifth Avenue and Pitti Immagine.
