Indy500 Exercise: Nolan Siegel tore Christian Rasmussen apart

The Indy 500 hasn't officially started yet, but that doesn't mean the tensions in Friday's third day of practice have not continued.

Nolan Siegel questioned Christian Rasmussen after actively cutting down Siegel after the turn. Following the Rasmussen adventure, Fox broadcasts broadcast Siegel’s communication with the crew.

"Rasmussen is such an idiot," Siegel said.

Prior to that, Rasmussen was already on Siegel's "idiot" list, but Rasmussen now resides on Siegel's list.

"He's already on the idiot list, but there's so much of it, but he's more like everybody else," Siegel said.

The Fox Radio team sympathized with Siegel's frustration.

"Based on what I just saw, I could feel this, and that's sure to be there to be cautious."

The Indy 500 weekend Friday is also known as the "Fast Friday" and the eligibility draw will be held at 6:15 pm ET.

On Saturday, IndyCar qualifications are held throughout the day. The initial eligibility begins at 11 a.m. on FS1 and then starts at 1:30 p.m. on ET, eligibility airs on FS2. The last part of Saturday's qualification will be aired on FOX at 4 p.m. ET.

The fastest 30 cars will ensure temporary positions throughout the day during the full qualifying session. 13-30 locations were locked and these locations could not be requalified on Sunday.

This determines the 7-12 position in the top 12 on Sunday. According to Saturday's results, cars will run from slowest to fastest in order.

The tensions in practice are getting higher and once the qualifying starts on Saturday, everything will become a grade.
