D-Minn. Rep. Ilhan Omar used some R-level language to delete reporters on Thursday.
The lawmaker told Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Myles Morell, "F --- Close" and asked her a question about the Democrats heading to El Salvador in defense of illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was deported to the country by the Trump administration.

"Do you think more Democratic colleagues should go to El Salvador to advocate for Abrego Garcia?" Morel asked Omar and his entourage to walk outside the Capitol in Washington, D.C.
As she continued walking, Omar replied, “I think you should f---close.”
Morell caught off guard, "Sorry, what?" The left-wing MP repeated himself, "You should go down."
The reporter asked her to clarify again. "Who should?" he asked. She went backwards, "You."

"Why me?" Morel asked as the group walked away. A staff member of Omar approached the reporter and handed him a card, saying, "We haven't asked any questions right now, but you're gone."
Omar later responded to the clip shared on X and said, “I said what I said.
Morel said Thursday that he found Omar's behavior unprofessional and rude, noting that he was asking other Democrats the same questions. Daily Caller is a right-leaning publication.
Despite her hostility towards Morel, Omar took a public stance against people who tried to intimidate and silence the media.

"In my work as a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and a member of Congress, the right to protect the freedom of the press is absolutely at the heart of my policy and belief," Omar said in a statement advocating for press freedom in Somalia in 2020.
She continued: “Whether it is demanding the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, advocating the release of incarcerated journalists’ murder, or insisting on the right of the media to cover domestic issues, involving domestic issues at home, I think, I think the free media is free for an open democratic society.”
Omar did not immediately respond to other requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
