When the Atlanta Falcons passed by Bill Belichick about 15 months ago, it was strictly about the football business.
He left the New England Patriots with Red Flag, with some Falcons executives questioning whether Berichick could leave a single-minded leader Silo and integrate into a broader decision-making collective. Focus on the elements of football, personality and relationships within the team building. One thing no one really worries about is non-football drama, because in most cases, Belichick mostly doesn't. Even if his outside life enters the media field of vision, it will soon fade away.

Now, more than ever, I wonder if this will happen this Belichick's version is that his off-court relationship with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, seems to be part of the coach's public visibility as much as his football achievements. And, more than ever, I wonder how the NFL who bypassed his two consecutive offseasons absorbed this reality.
This is not a column engraved with the relationship between Belichick and Hudson, their age differences have attracted a lot of media attention. Instead, it's about recognizing that attention and censorship has grown only in size, attracting a lot of mainstream media attention, including from Yahoo, which has begun to approach the celebrity community. Now, people's attention is turning into a kind of drama that we have nothing to do with Belichick's history.
The overall belief for decades is that Belishik's existence stems from keeping the main thing as the main thing. For most of the time, this major thing has to do with certain aspects of football. There are some exceptions - from Belichick's friendship with President Donald Trump, to camera clips around the world, to…yes… some of his previous relationship developments. But there is very few long-term traction that becomes a larger part of the Belichick package. At the end of the day, football covers everything else.
From the outside, he seemed to want this. Now? Belichick's outside life also took part in the stage. More than we believed before.

(Jared C. Tilton via Getty Images)Of course, most are benign. Instagram photos and other social media posts obviously attracted the mainstream attention they were looking for; again, too, from Yahoo- of course, it also showed Belichick's side, which we were not used to. But besides the inadequate opinion on his personal life, there are many of these views - we have been rubber drawings since The Invention of Celebrity Life.

The situation is different in the NFL – more specifically the majority of team owners who hire head coaches – and there is an additional background area that is playing out. Think of it this way: Belishik is well known as the head coach and leader of the organization a lot of When it comes to his harsh, one-hearted nature of football. When we see his relationship with players, they often talk about their love/hate relationship with him in their career. We see this in our relationship with his personnel executives, often in the back-scenes accounts in books about Patriots’ success. While discussing his time at Bill Parcells, we see it in Belichick's own words. Recently, we saw it in his passive attack relationship with Patriot boss Robert Kraft, whose name does not appear in Belichick's new book The Art of Winning: Football Lessons in My Life. Obviously, these lessons in his life have nothing to do with the club owner who has hired him for 24 years. Or at least not enough to acknowledge Kraft's existence during the life of his coaching career.
In the context of all this, Belichick's greatness is defined by his motivation, expectations and success. The success of the word is highlighted, because once success disappears in New England, the background of his tense relationship changes. Most especially Kraft. For decades, the juice is worth squeezing-until it is not. It was a reality after he left the Patriots and entered his team.

But one area of context, no one really worried about is Berichick’s personal life. First of all, it’s not fun every day, or at least blended with the furniture. Second, his personal life never really attracted attention. It's not from the media, it's most certainly not on social media. Third, its dramatic remnants never really lasted when his external life was under the radar. Especially when he wins football.
This time, it feels different.
Suddenly, Belichick's personal life has become a tangle of different clues that have now become an even greater part of his perception of him - from celebrity Vantage, Gawking's Vantage, and a straightforward drama of how he presents from one moment to the next. There have been multiple instances of reports about the coach over the past few months, and the coach needs to touch on his personal (and very public) relationship with Hudson. From the alleged decision to abandon the "Hard Knocks" UNC series to Hudson becoming "Chief Operating Officer of Belichick Productions", a deep dive into how his image made his image in North Carolina productions, and the latest source of belichick Fartout on CBS, it was a very obvious fact in Belichick's interview, which must have been a very obvious fact at the time, and a very obvious thing at the time.
For an NFL idol, he went to UNC to build a plan and returned to coaching, and the outside world knows much more about his personal life than he does with tar heels. Historically, I think Belichick calls this kind of thing distraction. And historically, I know Belichick is not a distracted fan. But, we are here.

Of course, winning can cover up distractions and make the drama more tolerant. In a few months, Belichick will have a chance to win and push everything else to the background. It's even enough to convince the NFL team to open a door to him again when they are 74 next year. However, it is undeniable that this version of Belichick has more options through the portal.
It's not just about football, it's all.
